After coming close to victory lane at Darlington Raceway a year ago, William Byron scored a historic victory at the track during throwback weekend in 2023. Byron tallied his third win of the season and Hendrick Motorsports’ first win at Darlington since 2012 when he drove the No. 24 car into victory lane for the 100th time.
“It’s up there for sure,” Byron said after the milestone victory. “Being up front, being in contention, and based on the past history we’ve had here, I think it definitely — it stacks up pretty high.”
Check out the best sights and sounds from the weekend as the 24 became just the fifth car number to reach the century mark in victories.
