RAPTOR®, a durable protective coating from Axalta, will be in the spotlight for this weekend’s Xfinity Series race when the RAPTOR King of Tough 250 gets underway at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
In addition to sponsoring the race, RAPTOR® will also be featured on the No. 7 car of JR Motorsports and Justin Allgaier, who has three top-three finishes in four races this season and has finished in the top 5 in seven of his last nine Xfinity outings. In 14 career Xfinity Series starts in Atlanta, Allgaier has tallied one win (2021), three top five-finishes and nine top 10s.
“This new version of Atlanta is definitely a wild card,” Allgaier said ahead of the race. “It races much more like a superspeedway, which means that anything can happen. Thankfully, JR Motorsports has always prepared some extremely strong superspeedway cars and I know that we will be up front and in contention throughout the day. Hopefully we can avoid any potential trouble out there, have a smooth, clean day, and get this RaptorTough.com Chevrolet into Victory Lane.”
You can watch the RAPTOR King of Tough 250 on Saturday, March 18 at 5 p.m. ET on FS1.
RAPTOR® has already been in the spotlight this NASCAR season thanks to William Byron’s victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the RaptorTough.com paint scheme on his Hendrick Motorsports No. 24.
RAPTOR® is designed to tolerate the toughest climatic conditions and can be applied to a wide range of items, including truck beds, lawnmowers, outdoor furniture and more. With 16 pre-mixed colors available, it’s easy to personalize anything you want to protect. RAPTOR® is available at local paint distributors, auto parts stores, and online retailers.
