      Axalta inks agreement with IMSA

      The International Motorsports Association (IMSA) announced today that one of the world’s leaders in professional and transportation coatings, Axalta has entered into a multi-year agreement making the company an official partner of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

      This partnership is a result of Axalta’s continued expansion into motorsports. Axalta has relationships with over half of IMSA’s 17 Official Automotive Partners and this partnership allows Axalta the ability to strengthen those relationships, as well as create new ones not only with those manufacturers but also with body shops that serve the refinish and aftermarket.
